Hello Beautifuls,

We would like to introduce you to two new products that have joined our family.

Carrot And Pumpkin Seed Defrizzer. We created this product with the fine hair ladies in mind. If you have naturally oily hair or hair that is fine and easily weighed down by products, this oil is for you. It adds incredible shine, seals and prevents frizzies all without leaving that greasy after feel.  This oil easily and quickly absorbs into your hair, leaving is soft, silky and frizz free.

Marula Hemp Hair Butter

It’s the sister butter to our Marshmallow Herbal Hair Cream, but it’s targeted to coarser, dryer hair types.  Ladies, if your hair needs something heavier, then this is for you.  We used Organic Marula oil, Organic Hemp seed oil and Mediterranean olive oil for remarkable moisturizing benefits. This is a winter must.

How to achieve the perfect braidout.

October 4th, 2010 § 3 Comments

Hello beauties,

I thought I’d share how I currently do my braidouts.  Since my last blog (some of you may remember that one) I have made some changes to my hair and regimen. I’m no longer relaxed and I’m trying to adjust to the change. I did the ‘big chop’ on September 30th 10. I really can’t say it’s the big chop because it was a series of cuts over a period of 1 year. I think I’ve cut more than 2 feet ( yes two feet (24 inches) of hair over the past year.  Some of you know that I had a really bad experience with a dye job that forced me to cut a lot of my hair off.  I’m not totally celebrating being natural because I’m not sure I’ll last. I prefer to be ‘texlaxed’ and may do so sometime in the future. For now I’m adjusting to my hair being a big bush that grows upwards :)

The braidout – my way using Shescentit products of course.
