Shescentit Cutie Pie {Limited Edition} kids hair care line

So so excited about the launch of our new kids care line. I had so much fun designing the packaging and creating the fragrances. This line was inspired by my gorgeous nieces, who always demand their own special packaging and fragrances, and spend too much time in the shower when they do get it.

The products do not contain any harmful ingredients, work effectively and smell divine – like a bakery

New fragrance to styling products

Hi Ladies,

We’d like to thank you for your continued support.  We would also like to address an issue that we’ve been having with the fragrance to both the Marula Hemp Hair Butter and Marshmallow Herbal Hair Cream.

When we launched these two products, they both had a delicious cherry and berry blend fragrance. However,  our subsequent repurchasing of fragrances to create  this unique fragrance blend, yielded scents that did not match the original ones. The result was a fragrance that was too strong and sweet.

We’ve tried out best to rectify this issue with our suppliers  to no avail.  As a result, we have decided to scrap the original fragrance. The new fragrance is a milder, softer and light summery scent. We know you’ll love it!

We’d like to inform our Shescentit family of some recent changes to our product line.

NEW!

We’re proud to introduce you to two new products we’ve been working on for some time.

You asked, we listened. Many of you wrote to us requesting that we create a product
that will give hold, define curls and add moisture to curly hair. After trial and error, our Papaya Curly Souffle is now ready.  Designed to keep hair moisturized while reducing frizz, providing hold to twists, definition to curls and shine to your lovely tresses.

We also added a Pomegranate Curl Quenching Conditioner to our line. It is meant to help detangle unruly curls, give slip while adding softness and shine. We’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do.

We packed it full of ingredients such as burdock root, marshmallow root, horsetail extract, carrots, olive oil and pomegranate extract.

These 2 new products will be available in late April.

On a slightly different note, so many of your wrote to us anxious about when we will be re-launching our bath and body products. Well Our Bath and Body line is almost ready. It will include very thick Body Butters, Hydrating Body Lotions and invigorating Body Scrubs. Stay turned for that ladies!

Sadly, some of our products are being discontinued. Due to dramatically increasing prices for ingredients, it no longer makes sense to produce some of our products. In order to continue to do so, we would have to dramatically increase our prices and we’d rather not do that.

Below is a list of the products that will no longer be available come April 1st.

For those of you who love these products we’re sorry to have to let them go but we hope that you will find love with any of our other Conditioners and Stylers.

CHANGE IS GOOD!

Fortifying Hair Masque will be temporarily unavailable as we slightly reformulate it with added ingredients such at Egg protein, Argan oil and Ceramides.  This is a serious protein conditioner formulated for protein lovers. It will also be accompanied by a new more delicious fragrance.

Banana Brulee will now have a single fragrance. We’re losing the current fragrances and sticking to a singular fragrance. Lighter, fresher and summer like.
Seyani Hair Butter and Kiwi Kiss Hair Butters will now have a new singular fragrance. When the current fragrance options are depleted we will not be restocking them.

The reason for this is to cut down on production time and implement faster processing times, which will result in shorter wait periods for our customers.

These changes will go into effect on April 1st.

We know that this is a lot to digest so we thank you for your continued support as we grow, learn and evolve.

Finally, you can order directly from our shopping cart.  There is a flat rate shipping charge when using the shopping cart. Shipping fees are calculated by weight so we refund any excess shipping fees to you. Thanks for being patient.

We are closed for the holidays

We’d like to say thank you for your support through 2010.  We are currently closed to process all orders from the Black Friday sale. Due to the overwhelming response, please allow for about 20 days for orders to ship. Shipping time is approximate. We will try our best to get all orders out by the 17 of December. We will stay closed  for the rest of December to enjoy the holidays with family and friends. During this time, products will appear out of stock on the website. Hair Butters – Repost

Hair Butters.

Please note, that hair butters may melt in high temperatures. If you received your hair butter and it’s not full to the top, it likely melted on the bottom causing it to appear less than full. When the butters leave us, it is filled to the top. During shipping, products can get exposed to high temperatures causing them to change in appearance. Please take note of this before purchasing.

Many of you have received butters that had melted during shipping in the batch shipped out between 14th -17th of September. A remedy is to put it in the refrigerator or a cool place until it solidifies. Because the butters are whipped, they will not regain their original form.

The good news is we are working on a butter, that will not melt during shipping so stayed tuned for that.
